Terms of Service

By accessing or using UnStatic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered accounts, and anyone who integrates UnStatic into their projects.

UnStatic is currently in open beta. This means the Service is under active development. Features may be added, modified, or removed. The Service may experience downtime, bugs, or data inconsistencies. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or feature stability during the beta period. For significant changes that affect how you use the Service, we will do our best to notify registered users in advance.

You acknowledge that you are using a beta product and accept the associated risks. We strongly recommend not relying on UnStatic as the sole storage mechanism for critical data.

UnStatic is currently free to use. The free tier includes up to 3 endpoints, 100 submissions per month, and up to 50 requests per hour per endpoint.

We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, modify existing tier limits, or change pricing at any time in the future. If we introduce pricing, we will provide advance notice to registered users. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Nothing in these Terms obligates us to keep the Service free indefinitely.

You sign in to UnStatic using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share access to your account or API keys with unauthorized parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in activity that harms other users or the platform.

When you create an endpoint and someone submits a form through it, UnStatic stores the submission payload (including any fields submitted) in our database. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of UnStatic complies with applicable data protection laws, including notifying your own users about how their form submissions are collected and processed.

You retain ownership of your data. We do not sell or share your submission data with third parties. We may access submission data only for the purpose of operating, maintaining, or debugging the Service.

You may delete your endpoints and associated submissions at any time from the dashboard.

UnStatic supports optional integrations including Gmail and Telegram notifications. By enabling these integrations, you authorize UnStatic to send messages on your behalf using the credentials or tokens you provide.

You are responsible for the security of any credentials or tokens you connect to the Service. We will not use these credentials for any purpose beyond delivering the functionality you explicitly enable.

You agree not to use UnStatic for any of the following:

• Collecting data without the knowledge or consent of the people submitting it • Sending spam, phishing content, or malicious payloads through form endpoints • Overloading or attacking the Service or its infrastructure • Storing or transmitting illegal content, including content that violates the rights of others • Circumventing rate limits or bot protection mechanisms • Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service

We reserve the right to block any IP address, endpoint, or account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion.

UnStatic includes optional bot protection via honeypot fields and IP-based rate limiting. When bot protection is enabled, IP addresses identified as bots may be permanently blocked. We are not responsible for legitimate traffic incorrectly identified as bot traffic.

Rate limiting is applied per endpoint and per IP. We do not guarantee that the rate limiting system will prevent all abuse; it is provided as a best-effort protection feature.

All code, design, branding, and content of UnStatic are the property of Kapil Chauhan. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

You retain full ownership of the content you submit or store through the Service. By using UnStatic, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Given that UnStatic is a personal beta project maintained by a single developer, we make no guarantees about response times, data retention periods, or service continuity. Use the Service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kapil Chauhan and UnStatic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption — arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the Service is currently free, this limit is zero.

If we decide to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, we will notify you by email at least 7 days in advance, except in cases of serious violations (such as abuse, spam, or illegal activity) where we may act immediately to protect the platform and other users.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days after which it will be permanently deleted. We will notify you before deletion so you have a chance to export anything you need. We are not obligated to export your data on your behalf, but we will make reasonable efforts to give you time to do so.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
